The estimated cost to build a new healthcare facility for Heilbrigdi ranges between 50 and 60 million Danish kroner. In contrast, the solution to relocate into the old convent, Kerit, is expected to cost less than half that amount, according to Árni Gregersen, chairman of the board for Heilbrigdi.

In a recent interview, Gregersen discussed the financial implications of the proposed move, emphasizing the benefits of utilizing the existing structure. The relocation aims to provide a more cost-effective solution while potentially improving access to healthcare services.

Further discussions about the matter are ongoing, as stakeholders assess the best approach for modernizing healthcare infrastructure while being mindful of budget constraints. The focus remains on ensuring that quality care is delivered efficiently.

For more insights and updates, stay tuned as the plans develop.
