Four youths arrested in Haukilahdi, Espoo, for multiple crimes

Four youths have been arrested in Haukilahdi, Espoo, in connection with various crimes. The arrests were made by police on Wednesday, and the suspects, all 15 years old, are currently in custody and face criminal charges. According to police, the allegations include aggravated assault, assault, robbery, and attempted robbery.

The police previously reported that a serious assault occurred on August 16 between 10 PM and midnight near the boat dock at Haukilahden beach. The victim was a minor boy, who sought medical attention afterward.

In addition, the police are investigating suspected robberies linked to events that took place on Friday evening in Espoo. Hundreds of youths had gathered at Haukilahden beach that night, coinciding with a celebration for first-year upper secondary school students marking the start of the academic year. The crimes under investigation in Haukilahdi are not directly related to this particular welcoming event.
