Plans underway to change fishing fees despite revenue loss from mackerel agreement with Norway and the UK
Plans are underway to change fishing fees, despite expectations that the national treasury could lose 75 million Danish krone in revenue due to a new mackerel agreement with Norway and the UK.
This was confirmed by Ruth Vang, the Minister of Finance, who believes that fishing fees should remain at a reasonably stable level.
“It is not right to alter the fees every time there is a gap in the national budget,” she stated.
