Landsverk invites bids for National Museum storage facility lease as blue mold threatens artifacts

Landsverk is now inviting bids from those interested in leasing storage space for the National Museum, with a deadline for submissions set for August 26. Bids will be opened on that date, but the winner will not be announced until September 30.

The museum’s current storage facility has confirmed the presence of blue mold, which poses a threat to its artifacts. As a result, all items must be cleaned and relocated to a new storage facility as soon as possible.

Bids will be evaluated based on location, size, and the ability to accommodate the lease requirements, including accessibility, parking arrangements, and the anticipated availability date for the leased space. The new storage facility should be between 500 to 1,000 square meters in size and at least three meters high, providing enough space for two to three staff members to work.
