Bodø/Glimt is set to host Red Star Belgrade at Aspmyra on Tuesday evening. The outcome of this match, part of a two-legged tie, is crucial as it could secure a place for the winner in the prestigious group stage of the UEFA Champions League. This anticipation has drawn hundreds of Serbian fans to Bodø, although not everyone managed to reach the stadium.

An incident occurred involving one supporter, who, according to police, attempted to secure food, resulting in a confrontation with law enforcement and staff at a street food establishment. The supporter allegedly struck a person in a car outside Anna’s Street Kitchen and then attempted to enter through a back door. Rolf Kristian Jensen, the incident commander, stated that the supporter tried to prepare his own meal, leading to a confrontation with the kitchen staff.

When the police arrived, the supporter reportedly assaulted an employee and then became violent with an officer during the arrest. Fortunately, there were no injuries stemming from the altercation, and the individual is now in custody. Jensen reassured that the police in Nordland are well-prepared for the influx of Serbian fans.

Blend Horori, the owner of Anna’s Street Kitchen, recounted that the supporter had previously knocked down someone in a car nearby and had tried to escape police by attempting to enter the kitchen. Horori, along with a police officer, apprehended him, describing it as merely performing a civic duty.

Most Serbian supporters have been polite and engaging, with Horori noting that only one person caused trouble amid the gathering of 500 supporters in the area. After the incident, the kitchen staff remained unshaken, with Horori’s brother taking a moment to enjoy his coffee post-altercation.
