Additional spaces open at Miðstovnurin childcare center in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands

As of September 1, additional spots will be available at the Miðstovnurin childcare center in the capital city of Tórshavn. This primarily concerns spaces in the nursery and kindergarten located on Kongagøtu.

According to Tórshavnar Municipality, more spots are expected to open in the Miðstovnurin at the Realskúlin school as well. Adjustments being made on Kongagøtu will make these spaces available following the summer break.

The Miðstovnurin on Kongagøtu will be divided into rooms, similar to other daycares within Tórshavnar Municipality. The center at Realskúlin will maintain an open and functional layout, featuring various activity rooms, workshops, and sensory rooms. This setup will continue as planned.

Children who are already on the waiting list for Miðstovnurin will retain their place on the list.
