Negotiations continue between Faroese Employers’ Association and Machinery Masters’ Association

Negotiations between the Faroese Employers’ Association and the Machinery Masters’ Association began on Thursday, August 15, as both parties exchanged demands regarding the machinery masters in the land-based industries.

The next negotiation meeting is scheduled for Monday, August 26.

Originally, the agreement between the Faroese Employers’ Association and the Machinery Masters’ Association was set to expire on June 1 of last year. However, due to a breakdown in negotiations between the Faroese Employers’ Association and five labor unions, it was decided to extend the agreement to midnight on August 31 of this year.

The negotiations are ongoing, with both parties committed to reaching a consensus.
