A recent study by the Finnish Institute of Occupational Health reveals that the majority of occupational healthcare services are directed towards individuals with lower educational qualifications. The analysis shows that a significant 62 percent of service events recorded by doctors, nurses, and physiotherapists were utilized by those who had completed only basic education. In contrast, psychological services were predominantly accessed by highly educated young women. The data was gathered from the patient registry of service providers between the years 2019 and 2022.
