Autumn term begins at Sports Academy in Vágur, Suðuroy with significant student turnout

Monday marked the first day of the autumn term at the Sports Academy in Suðuroy, with a significant turnout observed in Vágur, where a large crowd and a cluster of vehicles gathered at the student residence of the academy, according to local reports.

A total of 48 students commenced their studies yesterday, set to engage in experiences both within the academy’s surroundings in Vágur and across the country, along with plans for an overseas trip.

As is customary, the autumn term began with an introductory event, allowing students to get to know one another.

The Sports Academy in Suðuroy is renowned for its educational offerings, as reflected in the registration numbers, which have been robust for both this autumn and the upcoming spring semester.
