Police investigate severe injuries sustained by 20-year-old man during incident in Tórsfest

A 20-year-old man suffered severe jaw injuries during an incident in Tórsfest on July 26, and while no one has been formally charged, the police are investigating the people involved.

The case has been forwarded for legal evaluation, which is a standard procedure in police matters. A lawyer will assess the evidence and details of the incident.

Numerous individuals have been interviewed, and more witnesses are still to be questioned.

The police continue to work on determining the precise events of that evening.

“This was a fight, and it is challenging to clarify exactly what happened and who was responsible,” stated the duty officer, noting that accounts of the incident vary significantly from person to person.

However, as the police understand it, this does not appear to be a coordinated attack where multiple people chased after the victim, as was initially suggested.

Authorities have requested anyone who was present at the location to share any photos or videos of the event, but so far, they have received no submissions.

Additionally, there were no surveillance cameras in the area during the incident.
