Ministry acknowledges errors in decision regarding Elsa Maria Holm Olsen’s dismissal at Glasi

The Ministry of Children and Education has acknowledged errors in its decision to overturn the dismissal of Elsa Maria Holm Olsen, the Director of Education at Glasi. This confirmation comes from a report prepared by lawyer Christian Andreasen regarding the case.

Elsa Maria Holm Olsen was dismissed due to structural changes, leading her to file a complaint against her termination. The Ministry supported her and invalidated the principal’s decision.

However, Una Joensen, the principal, refused to accept the Ministry’s conclusion and pointed out that the decision lacked substantial factual basis.

According to Christian Andreasen’s report, Joensen was justified in her criticisms of the ministry’s invalidation of the dismissal. Nevertheless, the lawyer recommends that the Ministry’s decision to nullify the dismissal of Holm Olsen should remain.

Furthermore, the Ministry has communicated via email to Glasi’s principal, acknowledging administrative errors made in the case.

The principal expressed satisfaction that Andreasen’s findings indicate the Ministry made mistakes when it invalidated the dismissal of Elsa Maria Holm Olsen, the director of education.
