Salmonella has been detected in fresh red chard during routine testing. As red chard is also included in the crisp salad mix and seasonal mix, these products are being recalled as a precautionary measure. The recall affects ICA Red Chard 65g, ICA Crispy Salad Mix 65g, and ICA Seasonal Mix 150g, all with a best-before date of August 17, 2024.

In a statement, ICA emphasized that they conduct thorough quality controls on all products sold in the market. They take the incident seriously and are currently investigating with the supplier to determine how this occurred and to ensure it does not happen again.
