Danish kayaker Emma Aastrand Jørgensen has made history by securing a medal at her third consecutive Olympics. On Saturday, the 28-year-old athlete competed in the final of the women’s 500-meter single kayak event, where she started from lane seven. She finished in third place, earning herself an Olympic bronze medal.

The podium mirrored the results of the Tokyo Games three years ago, with New Zealand’s Lisa Carrington taking gold once again, followed by Hungary’s Tamara Csipes in silver. Carrington, who has been a dominant force in women’s kayaking, showcased her strength by winning the event.

Earlier on the same day, Aastrand Jørgensen secured her place in the final by finishing second in her semifinal heat, trailing behind the impressive Carrington. This latest achievement adds to her remarkable Olympic legacy and solidifies her status as one of Denmark’s premier paddlers.
