Residents of Sandoy oppose planned wind farm in Klivaløkshaga

Residents of Sandoy have gathered over 1,000 signatures opposing the planned wind farm in Klivaløkshaga. The signatures were collected both in person on the island and through an online campaign.

Joannes i Miðstovu, who initiated the petition, stated that no decision has yet been made regarding the end date for collecting signatures. However, it is certain that the people of Sandoy intend to appeal the environmental assessment conducted by SEV (the local energy company).

The deadline for filing the appeal is next Friday.
