Iceland

A new deep low-pressure system is set to arrive tomorrow, bringing unpleasant weather across the country. In the afternoon, winds will pick up, especially in the southern regions, with strong gusts from the east and northeast, potentially reaching storm levels. This will affect areas stretching from Öræfi to the Eyjafjöll mountains.

Significant rainfall is expected in the Southeast and East Fjords, with forecasts suggesting heavy downpours tomorrow night and throughout Monday. It is crucial for travelers to stay updated on weather forecasts and warnings.

Conditions will ease in the south and east on Monday; however, strong northeastern winds will develop in the northwest, posing a risk for vehicles susceptible to high winds.
