Minister confirms plans for wind farm in Klivaløkshaga, Sandoy

The Minister of Environment and Energy has confirmed that plans to establish a wind farm in Klivaløkshaga, Sandoy, will move forward despite acknowledging the concerns raised about the project.

Ingilín D. Strøm supports the assessment made by the Environment Agency, even as local birdwatcher Silas Olofson strongly urges authorities to abandon the proposal.

“We must protect our nature, but we also need to advance the green energy transition. This creates a challenging dilemma,” said the Minister of Environment and Energy.
