The organization “En svensk klassiker” reports a growing interest among women, particularly those aged 25-35, in taking on the classic competitions. Johan Grundin, the organization’s CEO, noted a significant change, indicating that young women are increasingly driving interest in these classic events.

Sanna Persson, originally from Ljungby in Småland and now residing in Uppsala, has committed herself to completing the classic races. She actively shares videos of her training on social media, hoping to inspire others while also highlighting the difficulties that accompany the challenge.

“It can appear quite glamorous on social media, so I also want to show the real side of it,” Persson stated, reflecting on the ups and downs of her experience.
