Authorities in Seinäjoki are seeking to imprison three individuals in connection with a shooting that occurred over the weekend at a local restaurant. A hearing regarding the detentions is scheduled for Wednesday at the South Ostrobothnia District Court, although specific timings were not available Tuesday afternoon.

The shooting incident took place Saturday evening at Pub Härmän Häjy, resulting in injuries to five people, with three suffering from serious wounds. Among the injured was a security guard. Police apprehended six individuals that same night across Seinäjoki, Kurikka, and Ikaalis.

Amidst the ongoing investigation, Pub Härmän Häjy is preparing to return to normal operations, reopening its doors on Wednesday at noon after temporarily closing following the incident. The establishment has expressed its hope on Instagram for a peaceful working environment for its staff, stating that the team is deeply shaken by the event and requesting not to be approached with questions about it.

The restaurant emphasized that the safety of both customers and staff remains its top priority.
