KÍ optimistic ahead of crucial Champions League match against Malmö FF in Klaksvík

The weather is favorable for football, and the team is strengthened as most players have returned from injury. This was stated by the chairman of KÍ ahead of their match against Swedish champions Malmö FF, scheduled to take place in Klaksvík at 19:45 this evening.

A total of 1,250 tickets are available for the Champions League match, and most have already been sold. Approximately 40-50 fans have traveled from Sweden, along with some Swedes vacationing in the Faroe Islands who have also purchased tickets.

Malmö FF won the first leg 4-1, which positions KÍ at a disadvantage going into this match.

“But we believe in ourselves, and we’ve successfully challenged opponents before,” said Tummas Lervig.
