Icelandic Meteorological Office issues yellow weather warnings for Breiðafjörður, Faxaflói, and South Iceland

The Icelandic Meteorological Office has issued yellow weather warnings for Breiðafjörður, Faxaflói, and South Iceland due to strong winds. East and southeast winds are expected to reach speeds of 10 to 18 m/s, with gusts potentially reaching up to 30 m/s.

The warning will come into effect in Breiðafjörður at midnight tonight, and at 5 and 6 AM tomorrow in Faxaflói and South Iceland. It will remain in place until 9 PM tomorrow in Breiðafjörður and Faxaflói, and until midnight in South Iceland.

Traveling with vehicles that are vulnerable to strong winds is deemed hazardous, and the public is advised to exercise caution during this period.
