Individual hospitalized after shooting incident at private residence in Haukilahden, Espoo

On Saturday afternoon, emergency services received a report of a violent crime in Haukilahden, Espoo, according to police. The report indicated that a person was shot in a private residence and was subsequently taken to the hospital. The situation did not pose a threat to bystanders.

On Sunday, police announced that the injured individual remains hospitalized. Authorities apprehended a male suspect in connection with the incident in Kivistö, Vantaa, during the night between Saturday and Sunday. The arrest took place in an apartment building and was carried out peacefully.
