RTV-Yhtymä announces restructuring negotiations affecting 15 locations in Finland

A company specializing in paints and surface materials from Riihimäki, RTV-Yhtymä Oy, has announced new restructuring negotiations as part of its corporate reorganization process that began in early October. This move is aimed at adapting the company’s operations to the current market situation.

In a press release, RTV-Yhtymä stated that the negotiations will involve the entire workforce across its 15 locations. Potential outcomes may include the closure of facilities, layoffs, and the reassignment of staff to new roles. The company anticipates that staff reductions could affect up to 103 employees, while proposed changes in employment terms may impact a further 12 individuals.

The locations that may face closure include: Forssa, Järvelä, Järvenpää, Kaarina, Karjaa, Kouvola, Mäntsälä, Nokia, Nummela, Perniö, Porttipuisto in Vantaa, Sahaajankatu in Helsinki, Salo, Savonlinna, and Varkaus.

RTV-Yhtymä is set to commence negotiations next Monday, which are expected to last for approximately two weeks.
