Police request arrest of Rolf Nordmo in Janne Puhakka murder case in Henttaala, Espoo

Police are requesting the arrest of Rolf Nordmo, the former spouse of ex-professional ice hockey player Janne Puhakka, today in the Western Uusimaa District Court. Nordmo is suspected of murdering Puhakka by shooting him with a shotgun. The fatal incident occurred on Sunday evening in Henttaala, Espoo.

According to police, the suspect has confessed during interrogations that he shot the victim, resulting in Puhakka’s death. Authorities believe that the motive for the homicide was related to the end of their relationship.

The hearing at the Western Uusimaa District Court is set to begin at 3 p.m.
